2. Interesting... what's your current age?
 she furrowed her brow. "age? well, we don't have a concept of age, i only emerged about a 100 years ago, i don't know what that is for humans, but it's quite young for gems. it's not like i'm a child or anything, we emerge and get straight to work! er -- worker gems do. i'm simply a pearl."

3. Uh-huh. What's your favorite food?
  lavender gave the reader a curious look. "what is... food?"

4. And your favorite drink?
 "drink? i assume this is another earth thing?"

5. Life: Confession time! Who's your crush/lover?
 "er -- i don't know! i suppose i have a strong bond with peach pearl, and she makes my nonexistant entrails feel all fluttery, but that isn't a ' crush ', isn't it? a crush sounds like someone who shatters you..." she babbled incessantly.

 "what is a kiss?" she demanded, her cheeks iris with humiliation.

 lavender scoffed. "they all assume that i like purple because i am, well, a lavender pearl. i personally don't have a favorite, but i guess shades of yellow are aesthetically pleasing?"

"stars, now what is an author?! i'm not going to understand every earth term!"

she looked away, panic etched on her face. "being shattered. it's inevitable though, isn't it?" lavender chuckled uncomfortably.

lavender growled under her breath. "they. wouldn't."
